Really cool location. You won't find it otherwise. Burgers are delicious. Service could be more attentive.
Very friendly staff, affordable prices and very good food and wine! And the restaurant is gorgeous inside and out. Highly recommend!
The service was really good. Tried very hard and also apologized for the mistakes. We had a tarte flambée Italy for at least 11 euros, and there wasn't even a tomato on it. Some mozzarella cheese and that's it. The tarte flambée Classic wasn't better either. 4 stalks of rocket salad, 5 rings of onion and about 30 small cubes of bacon. We were really hungry and we waited 40 minutes, we were actually about to leave, then the food came. Sorry, it doesn't work that way and there will definitely be a new tenant again next year. We won't come any more.
The ambience is very nice, the older service from both of them was unfortunately not so friendly and it is very expensive. € 4.50 for mint leaves with hot water ...
In contrast to many other reviewers, we found the service extremely nice and courteous. Nice ambience tastefully decorated, good wines at fair prices. Only the food was unfortunately not on the same level as the rest, the tarte flambée was slack and the chicken was dry with mushy potato pancakes. The desserts were again good.
Waited almost 1 3/4 hours for the food. You can't turn back time.
A great restaurant. As is the location! You could make something special out of this if the food and service were better. It may be all right for coffee and cake. A lot of room for improvement.
Ambience very nice, in the middle of the castle, service very nice and the tomato soup was also delicious.
The space was ideal for our family celebration (Fürstenz.) Wait staff was not very attentive and cooperative. Veal escalope breading was too black, food was brought to the table individually and not together in about 5 minutes. Since I have eaten well here many times, I would not go out to dinner with several guests under these circumstances. The criticism was not taken seriously.
Tried to make a reservation. 2 email addresses are not accepted. After 3 attempts, nobody answered by phone. Are probably not interested in guests
Food was very good, unfortunately not service at all
Service disorganized; Waited for food for over 1 hour at approx. 60% occupancy; Weak convenience food, at least nicely presented, but sometimes cold and chicken not well done; Only the view is good (that's why the star) Edit: Dear chef of the castle kitchen. I love that they take the time to address every single review of the day. As you can see, these are all bad. I am aware that the catering industry had a difficult time even before the pandemic and I would be very happy if you continued to have success with the castle kitchen. However, I would recommend taking criticism seriously. Working with convenience products is now normal in all price ranges. Should I e.g. have done their potato rosti injustice by doing so and they were fresh, I have to say: then work better with convenience. For communication: The cold food (rice) went back to the kitchen and came back without excuse and at almost the same temperature. The missing bread for the salad took two requests. The criticism of the half-cooked chicken could have caught the waiter's trained eye on the rest of the plate. In general, one seems to be looking for the fault with the guest, which in my opinion is forbidden in gastronomy.
Unfriendly staff and overpriced prices the food had an unpleasant smell. As you can see from older reviews, this seems to be a more common problem ...
Good selection of wine with relaxing environment close to rhine river.
Very good kitchen, nice terrace
On Tuesday I spent nice hours with my girlfriend in the Biebrich Palace Park, at the castle and in the castle kitchen in the Biebricher Castle. I had given her this birthday invitation. We have been looking forward to eating out for a long time. The wonderful outdoor terrace with a view of the Rhine, oleander bushes and palm trees invites you to linger and the interiors are just super beautiful. Tastefully laid tables and a wonderful ambience, here you can assign 5 stars. It was just a shame for us that all the waiters in the castle kitchen were totally unfriendly, that started with the table assignment. When we ordered, we were not asked which dressing we wanted, no pepper and salt were brought in and, above all, we were not given a smile or attention. The salad was unfortunately mushy and the prawns were neither well fried nor particularly tasty. After our salads and two large bottles of water (€ 41.00) we were totally served and preferred to drink our sparkling wine at the WPS in Hattenheim.
Really tasty and very friendly staff! Would love to come back. Great location!
We were overall very happy, the food was good. Upscale prices that are justified by the atmosphere. The waitresses didn't seem so familiar with the card.
So far so good and friendly
Even in these trying times, the food and service were excellent!
Absolutely rude and uncomfortable. At first they didn't want to speak to us and accompany us to the tables, then we were not served for 30 minutes. When we tried to pay we were ignored by all the waiters, even if they were addressed directly. With such a service, you really regret having even gone there. Typical Wiesbaden, if only the Germans are treated well.
Nice place .... and exceptional in appearance. Very friendly staff... somewhat raised the prices. Unfortunately no ice cream menu and ice cream cafe. Small selection of cakes and dishes. Toilets very clean.
Nice, very tasty, good coffee, polite waiters.
Very nice place with very good views
Amazing view excellent service good food reasonable prices
